Taisa Kohut, MD

Taisa Kohut, MD, is a triple board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist who earned a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kohut completed her pediatric residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship and a pediatric transplant hepatology fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA. Most recently, she served as an assistant professor of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She feels called to pediatric hepatology due to her strong desire to serve others and improve the lives of children and their families with acute and chronic liver disease.
